Maha Festival is a multi-day celebration of music and discovery that takes place in August every year in Omaha, Nebraska. It’s the flagship event of Maha, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on bringing people together by curating and producing cultural experiences. Our goal is to positively impact the economic vitality of our home city and region.
Maha Festival programming takes place in a variety of neighborhoods in Omaha, Nebraska. Events in 2020 will occur throughout Little Bohemia, Blackstone District, and Aksarben Village.

Glad you asked. When you help out during a four- to six-hour shift, you earn free admittance to the event you’re volunteering at. You also get a limited-run volunteer T-shirt, and legit bragging rights.
March 7 at 12 p.m. CT. Last year’s volunteers get first dibs on volunteer shifts early, starting February 29 at 12 p.m. If you were a 2019 volunteer, check your inbox including your spam folder for the link.
