Support and promote the city of Omaha and the great nonprofit work happening inside of it? Yes. Provide a space at the festival devoted to hands-on activities for attendees of all ages? Double yes.
That’s the Maha Community Village for you — merging fun and learning together every year since 2012. The 2019 Community Village is seeking 501(c)(3) nonprofits — specifically those that provide services related to mental health and wellness, directly or indirectly — to join with us in making a difference. Your organization is invited to concept an activity that reflects who you are and what you bring to the community, to be carried out during these days of creativity and discovery. For organizations that do not work in areas related to mental health and wellness: don’t worry, you can absolutely still apply. We only ask that you agree to stand with Maha to encourage conversation around the importance of self-care, mental health, and access to important resources.
