Even More Things to Do

Ways to make this year your most memorable Maha yet!

July 26, 2022

Fill your weekend with all these rad stop-offs.

Most are located on the Maha Map. Need help finding something? Head to Guest Services.

TGIBFF at MaMO Gallery

From our friends at BFF: “Travel back to the ’90s with TGIBFF!, an ephemeral installation inside the MaMO Gallery! Located at Suite 98, S. 67th St, find Alanis More-stuff and explore their hoard of ’90s memorabilia and curios.

Featuring ’90s inspired exhibiting, installation, and performance artists, TGIBFF! is all that and a bag of chips!”

Metropolitan Community College Chill Tent

It’s July. It’s warm outside. During Maha, one of the best places to sit back and chillax is in the MCC Chill Tent. While you’re there, learn how to make specialty zero-proof cocktails designed by a culinary arts instructor. After the demo, go next door to the Sandhills Elixir bar to purchase the delicious zero-proof cocktails you just tasted, and take home a recipe card so you can make them anytime. Free samples to 21+ only. Friday demonstrations at 6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 8 p.m. Saturday demonstrations at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:45 p.m.

Festival-Wide Scavenger Hunt with Creighton University Heider College of Business

If you’re the competitive type, and you like cool prizes, this one’s for you. Find icons like Billy Bluejay hidden throughout the festival, snap a photo, and visit the BFF MaMO area to claim a fabulous Creightonian fanny pack!

LinkedIn Photo Booth

Capture the day with a fun memento of you and your friends. LinkedIn believes in the “new professional” — you know, the real you. The one who likes going to festivals and still works hard chasing their dreams every day. Celebrate your professional (or festival) side with a photo by renowned LinkedIn photographer Tony Chung and come away with a unique souvenir. Visit the booth to get a rad slap bracelet on Friday; photo booth on Saturday only.

Werner Wheel

This festival staple has earned its spot in Mahistory. With its twinkling lights, premium free swag — trucker hats and water bottles! — at the nearby Werner tent, and best views of the entire festival, you need to make time to take a free ride.

Cox Recharge Lounge

It’s tough to avoid a phone running low on battery after several hours out festival-ing. Luckily, Cox has you covered with the Recharge Lounge, where you can recharge your phone — and yourself! Take a breather while hanging out on comfy furniture courtesy of NFM. Then take your 100% battery back out to the show.

FNBO Free Water Stations

Speaking of recharging, it’s about time in the day to get yourself some hydration. Located near the Cox Recharge Lounge, in VIP, and mobile on a roving bicycle.

Captain Morgan Blender Bike

And now, time for a little workout. Join Captain Morgan and mix up your own frozen fruity cocktail with a bicycle-powered blender. Free samples, 21+ only.

Zero Waste Stations

Yeah, we’re talking trash. On your way out, be sure to find a Zero Waste Station — located throughout the park thanks to OPPD — to get rid of your compostables and recyclables the right way. Maha will be announcing updates throughout the weekend to show how much waste we’ve saved from a landfill together. High fives all around.
