#Maha11 Music Festival and Conference News

Maha is a celebration of music and discovery in Omaha, NE.

April 5, 2019

This year, it’s even more: a four-day hooray. A summer extravaganza. A proper getdown in the streets. All happening August 14-17, 2019.

Some more fresh details about #Maha11:

Maha Opening Night /// WEDNESDAY
August 14 at South 13th Street/Little Bohemia

The pop-up party of the summer, featuring all the newest neighbors on and around South 13th Street coming together to showcase original experiences.

Maha Discovery /// THURSDAY
August 15 at Metropolitan Community College’s Center for Advanced and Emerging Technology, Fort Omaha Campus

A one-day, one-track innovation conference designed to expose attendees to the most relevant perspectives and trends of the moment. Hear from thought leaders across multiple industries, and see how others breaking the mold can help seed your own inspiration. Maha Discovery is intended to pick up where the Big Omaha conference left off last year, with themes of inclusivity, technology, sustainability, and more. All in the fabulous facility that is MCC’s CAET.

Maha Music Festival /// FRIDAY & SATURDAY
August 16-17 at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village

A two-day outdoor music festival highlighting national and local acts representing a diverse range of indie and pop music, plus interactive adventures for anyone and everyone.

RFID Wristbands With Cashless Technology

Maha has scored the crème de la crème of festival wristband technology this year, and we’re excited to share that you don’t have to take your wallet out once if you don’t want to. Here’s how it works: your wristband at the music festival and conference comes equipped with a scannable barcode. You’ll tap that barcode when you enter the event, and you’ll tap it to make purchases at every vendor across Stinson Park. The wristbands will be easily, securely, and quickly loaded online with a bank card or on-site with cash.

Saying goodbye to the paper Maha Money of the past is a little sentimental, but we’re OK with the faster lines and zero wasted trees.

You can read all about the new wristbands in the Maha Frequently Asked Questions.

THE BIG DAY IS April 18

Artist, speaker, and experience lineups for all of Maha are coming April 18. But until then, the Early Bird Maha Festival four-day pass is on sale for just $100, more than 40% off the regular price. Thank you for supporting Maha year after year. Enjoy this little discount for being a fan. Get yours now!
